One Direction

One Direction or our new teen sensation is over the top. Kids and teens all over the world are watching videos like 'What makes you beautiful' and others. Going on right now is the 'I want to win a trip to NYC to see One Direction contest. Teens all over are posting this link to be able to participate. http://www.kiss108.com/common/shareme5/index.php?linkid=61343 The link that gets the most visits gets to be the winner for the trip.
Sounds too good to be true, right? Another way for kids to get credit for the link views is by posting the 'What makes you beautiful video.' Could this be a scam? I personally checked it out and no viruses were imbedded into my hard drive or anything like that. It seems pretty safe. Well in the case that it's real click on the link as many times as you can.  If not just copy and paste and you should be good. Thanks. The video I wasn't able to upload for my lack of skills. In all cases I probly won't win the trip. Even if I did my condition wouldn't allow it. Thanks again for reading my blog.

IMVU- What are our children getting into?

Imvu is just like all those other mingling websites. The site mainly targets children. Yet it is not really a child's environment and it is definitely not something we would want our children to socialize with. Imvu is insidious-apparently harmless but can be quite damaging. The people who have an account can socialize with almost anyone in the world. The users spend credits to buy products. There are many ways to get credits but the easiest is to buy them with actual money. The more raunchy products can only be accessed through the VIP membership. Users can also have virtual partners (boyfriend's, girlfriends) which they can even get married to. The users may be prone to having virtual sex. The users may also be a part of cyber-bullying. Cyber-bullying is easily done on this site because you can be completely anonymous. Things like "You're ugly" are actually quite common. The worst is that your child could have an account and you wouldn't even know.  It is definitely not something I would want my child to be a part of. Users out there use site at your own risk.
